cartoon cats
Hello World of XPILAR friends,
I am experimenting with drawing some cartoon cats. I do not think I have perfected my technique yet--haha! What do you think I should do to improve on these? Perhaps my cartoon eyes are too cartoon?
I am using tinted charcoal and graphite pencil.

I think they are very sweet, actually! As you said, they are cartoons.
Perhaps what would improve them is adding more bold striping the way most cats — particularly tabbies — have it. You have a tabby... look at the signature "M" markings on the face.
This is similar to the high key view of the photo.
I like the second cat, I would play with him :-)
