Gods of Egypt is the movie
In an Egypt before the birth of the world, Set, the Egyptian god of darkness, usurps the throne of the Egyptian empire by murdering his brother the old King Osiris and banishing his nephew Horus, the rightful heir, taking his eyes off him, just on the day in which he would take possession of the throne. For some years, the Egyptians were enslaved and all opposing gods slowly assassinated, but a thief named Bek and his girlfriend Zaya plan to steal Horus's eyes so that he can return and defeat Set. Bek ventures into the Royal Treasury bypassing the traps and stealing only one of the eyes, but upon his return he and Zaya are discovered by Urshu, the king's architect and his right hand man. They both manage to escape from her but Urshu hits Zaya right in the heart of her with an arrow, killing her. Bek decides to make a pact with Horus to give life back to his beloved in exchange for her eye. Horus accepts and recovers his eye but Zaya leaves with Anubis to the afterlife but without any wealth to give to the balance. Horus tells Bek that only the king can make Anubis turn back and that if he regains the throne before Zaya reaches the last of the Nine Gates in the land of the dead, there is a chance to save her, Bek decides. Help him and since he saw the plans of the pyramid of Set, his source of power, Horus plans to kill the desert in order to kill Set.
