Simple Joys
Today, I saw my uncle jumping for joy. See how I depicted him on this art journal? He is so glad to finally get hold of these two big pots he ordered from the start of quarantine. Everyone is searching for things to do to keep them busy and productive. How about you guys what's keeping you busy at home in this pandemic?
I doodle the moment to capture the scene. It is so fun to watch a simple request being fulfilled. I got reminded to be thankful always be it big or small. Even when there isn't even a slight hope of things hoped for to come true. Kind of depressing to think about it but that little faith is the seed that will grow.
Lately I have been seeing front yards becoming sustainable gardens that provide enough food for everyone in a family and nearby communities. Isn't that great? The pandemic helped us go back to the simple life that we had or took for granted because we are living our lives base on our own idea of luxury, bountiful and comfort. I don't have any bad thing to say about anyone's choice but I am slowly realising that life can be lived simply yet fulfilling with no unnecessary stress and pressure from the material things. Just my thoughts.
Happy gardening to those who are finding happiness cultivating their gardens
