Known as white velvet plant, sheep or woolly plant (Tradescantia sillamontana). It is a small plant, with the particularity of the leaves and stem are covered by a kind of spider web (wool or fluff), it is creeping.

As for the illumination, it should not receive the sun's rays directly, since it burns its leaves, it can grow quietly indoors, with the care of taking the plant to receive the sun's rays in the early hours of the morning. The underside of the leaf exhibits a purple coloration.

In relation to the watering, the fluff that protects its leaves makes it store the vital liquid, it can be watered with intermediate days.

Now, in relation to the substrate, it is recommended good drainage, which does not keep moisture.

Its attractive, light violet flower is a spectacle, it lasts a day, when it closes it remains as a kind of button.
