Hello everyone, today I want to draw a portrait of the great musical teacher "Billo Frómeta, creator of the great" Billo's Caracas Boys "Orchestra, it is a pleasure for me to pay this tribute by drawing his portrait, for this great exponent of music Caribbean and the bolero.

Hola a todos, hoy quiero realizar un retrato dibujar del gran maestro musical "Billo Frómeta, creador de la gran Orquesta "Billo's Caracas Boys", es un placer para mi rendir este homenaje llevando al dibujo su retrato, para este gran exponente de la música caribeña y el bolero.

Step 1.

I make the sketch in its entirety in graphite pencil, and then give the first layers with the pen, orange color mark "paper-mate", I am working with a weft in an inclined way, with small stripes that join as I go .

Realizo el boceto en su totalidad en lápiz de grafito, para luego dar las primeras capas con el bolígrafo, color anaranjado marca "paper-mate", voy trabajando con un tramado de forma inclinado, con pequeñas rayas que se van uniendo a medida que avanzo.

Step 2.

I proceed to make the eyes and nose, with very light and faint stripes with a defined pattern, these hatches have to be very soft, so in this way I am more evenly tinting the skin, in this I change the pen and use the red color, I am giving it darker and stronger tones, tinting the two colors of pens, then I use the black pen for the dark components.

Procedo a realizar los ojos y nariz, con rayas muy claras y tenues con un patrón definido, estos tramados tienen que ser muy suaves, así de esta manera voy matizando mas uniformemente la piel, en este paso cambio de bolígrafo y uso el color rojo, voy dándole tonalidades mas oscuras y fuertes, matizando los dos colores de bolígrafos, luego uso el bolígrafo negro para los componentes oscuros.

Step 3

Here I already have 60% of the work done and with a defined scheme, I am giving the nuances with medium term, the volume is already taking shape, to this illustration I wanted to add some additional elements to identify more to the character with his musical work, make a trumpet logo with the name "Billos" accompanied with some piano keys and musical notes, this would give my work a cover art appearance.

Aquí ya tengo un 60 % del trabajo realizado y con un esquema definido, voy dando los matices con termino medio, el volumen ya esta tomando forma, a esta ilustración quise agregarle algunos elementos adicionales para identificar mas al personaje con su trabajo musical, realice un logotipo de trompeta con el nombre de "Billos" acompañados con algunas teclas de piano y notas musicales, esto le daría a mi trabajo una apariencia de caratula de portada.

Luis María Frómeta Pereiranacio, was born in the town of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic on November 15, 1915 -.

He arrived from the Dominican Republic to Venezuela on December 31, 1937, to play in dance venues in Caracas, this important fact, the positive earnings and the positive reception of the public of that country, made the orchestra settle in Caracas, passing through many times of great success, until it became a whole Latin American musical phenomenon, in 1988 the maestro "Billo Frómeta" died in Caracas.

Luis María Frómeta Pereiranacio, nació en la población de Santo Domingo en República Dominicana el día 15 de noviembre de 1915 , Llegó desde República Dominicana a Venezuela el 31 de diciembre de 1937, para tocar en locales de baile en Caracas, este hecho importante, las ganancias positivas y el recibimiento positivo del publico de ese País, hicieron que la orquesta se radicara en Caracas, pasando por muchas épocas de grandes éxitos, hasta llegar a convertirse en todo un fenómeno musical latinoamericano, en 1988 el maestro "Billo Frómeta" muere en Caracas.
