Playing Photographer | Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Spain

Greetings my fellow photographers, i hope y’all getting ready for the weekend.

Today I’m gonna play photographer and also a storyteller at the same time, because i will share with you my experience from one of the places in Spain containing lots of young tourism - Mallorca.

So basically i have friends that live in Spain and they invited me to go with them on what they said “Spanish” holiday to experience their party culture for a couple of days and so i did. They live in Barcelona, but said that in the summer Barcelona is not that special considering there are other parts of Spain like Ibiza or Marbella where there tourism and the experience is “next level” so i said why not I’m young after all.

The place I’m gonna share with you are the Islas Baleares or translated as the Baleares Islands which is a group of Islands located in the western Mediterranean Sea. The interesting thing about these Islands is that they are part of Spain and are an autonomous community with their own government and parliament.

I can fairly say that these Islands have one of the most beautiful sea beaches I’ve ever set foot on, the waters are crystal-clear, and the seascapes are stunning for the human eye. I can’t explain it but the “architecture” or the nature combined with the human imagination build these beaches like is under the condition “the best or nothing”. The beaches are if i could say unspoiled and the atmosphere makes you feel immortal.

Each island has its own unique charm and attractions. Just to note that from a geographical stand point the archipelago (which means a group of islands that are close together) consists of four main islands:

Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, as well as several smaller islands and islets. Basically Mallorca is the largest of them and also the most popular island, popular for its beautiful beaches and unforgettable nightlife.

I know the contest is about photography, but I couldn’t resist telling you about the nightlife in this spectacular place. We went on this nightclub called “The Social Club” and the nightlife is on another level giving very “tropical” and young vibes, the music was very summer-ish the people are fantastic and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re school student. The time just stops, the cocktails make you vibe with everyone and you just refuse to exist anywhere else except this place.

I can say that this holiday to Spain was one of the best summers I’ve ever had till this day and the memories will keep bringing back every now and then for a long time. Anyway i hope you enjoyed this summer holiday with me.😄
