B&W PHOTOGRAPHY | Genova - Italy
Greetings my fellow B&W lovers today I’m gonna show you an edited photos from my trip to the city of Genova in Italy made in black and white style.
For the task the first 3 of the photos went through my favourite filter that is considered from the B&W family called silvery. I’ve said many times that this filter is perfect for editing photos using the B&W palette, because it just makes so much sense, this filter gives the perfect balance of B&W in some photos that don’t have much brightness or should i call it whiteness.
The 4th photo had too much light and went through the so called Mono filter giving retro vibes and the contrast on the white is not too much. In my opinion the Mono filter is the best of all the B&W filter IOS has to offer, because not only brings retro vibes, but also makes the photo modern, I don’t know how to explain it, it gives retro vibes, but the modern way.😅
Some of the photos are better with their natural colours and some work good with the silvery filter so i will put the original photos down below so you can enjoy and see the vivid colours, because it will be a shame not to show them.
So let me tell you a something about this beautiful city. Basically Genova or some may know it as Genoa is a picturesque historic port located along the Mediterranean coast and it’s a very popular tourist destination known for it’s eye catching architecture and it’s natural beauty of seascapes. My impression of this city is that it has a lot of architecture left from the renaissance era and that the cuisine is fantastic. I could talk more about it, but that’s not what the contest is about, maybe in some other post.😄
Anyway i think that with these filters the photos turned out very good let me know what you think about it.
