#club5050 On the way to find gold

Hello dear Steemit friends,

today I want to tell you about a gold prospecting(exploration) from winter 2019 in Bavaria. I met up with a very good friend and gold prospector there to go gold prospecting together in the Bavarian Forest. I booked accommodation close to the area we were going to, so I wouldn't have to drive back and forth all the time. I'm used to the long journey by now, so I was able to drive through to my friend's place without too many problems. I spent the first evening after arriving with him and his family, before heading towards the accommodation late in the evening.
The next morning, we got an early start and what can I say, it was really cold, just like always in winter in Bavaria. Nevertheless, we set off to pursue our hobby.

We are still looking for our favourite stream that also contains a certain amount of gold. Finding gold streams is not too difficult, again and again we can detect small amounts of gold. But we look for the larger amounts and the bigger gold, that's what drives us again and again, no matter what the conditions are.

As always, the geological map is our basis for the Bavarian Forest. Thorsten and I picked out several streams on this basis to find ourselves a nice lonely Goldbach.

Small streams where you can escape from everyday life in the summer without meeting other people or gold panners, that's what we are always looking for. At the same time, this also means that not many people have looked for gold there yet and that we are perhaps the first people to look for gold there in several years.

At our first stream we prospected a little more extensively, unfortunately without a gold result, so we moved on to our second stream, where we were able to find gold. It really wasn't much and we have to look at other streams. For this area it now means that we have to look at each stream more specifically and in more detail.

Prospecting for gold takes time and work, but it is worth it. Once you have found the right spot.
We still have about 17 creeks to go, so hopefully we'll be back together again soon. We firmly believe that one day we will be rewarded for our hard work. And we will see a really big chunk lying in the channel.

Until then, we will continue to pursue our wonderful hobby, which always takes us to the most beautiful and diverse places, and which is an incredible amount of fun.
