RE: Growth during 13 Days of Cocoa Seed Nursery
It's amazing to see how well the plants thrive without supplemental lighting.
In our area, most seedlings and cuttings require supplemental lighting with phytolamps.
It's a shame that cocoa definitely won't thrive here, and I only see it in bags of cocoa powder :)
I'm very sure that you haven't read my entire post because there are two planting media that can be used: soil and sand. Try using sand, it might be useful. You can also find cocoa seeds by sowing them in a box covered with cloth. If you've tried it, you'll definitely smile.
I think you misunderstood my answer, or the translation is not correct enough, I read the post from cover to cover, but I did not talk about soil for growing cocoa, I said that I did not see additional lighting, but only sunlight for the growth of seedlings .... :)
:) ... Maybe you mean, we will talk about lighting, yes that's right, this collat tree, requires good lighting that will be received by the stem and leaves too. If the lighting is insufficient, it will result in flower growth being hampered and few, to get a lot of fruit
