Photo contest: post processing #4 - Velvet season beach surrealism.

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago (edited)

This post is my participation in the Photo contest: post processing #4, authored by Dear @bambuka.

You will see below the original photo, provided for the competition by him, but for now, I want to talk about my decision in the way of photo editing.

I don't know if you like to be on the beach during the velvet season, but this is probably the beginning of the time when you no longer see a huge queue for a lonely dressing room set up on a huge beach.

During the beach season, when you really want to quickly plunge into the water, you need to stand in line for a long time, because there is only one cabin, and there are many people who want to change clothes.

You are forced to change clothes very quickly if you are lucky enough to get there, your things periodically fall into the dirty sand, because all the clothes hooks in the locker room are broken.

You feel with your spinal cord how nervous the crowd is there, behind the thin wall of this booth, and as a result, you are nervous.

And when it gets cold, even if you see a very comfortable locker room with many entrances and no queues, you will no longer want to go in there and take off your warm clothes.

A little bit of surrealism in the velvet season from me in this photo work.

Despite the apparent simplicity, it is very difficult to decide what can be done with it.

For starters, I boosted the colors and removed everything that didn't.

I wanted to see the sunlight, the background was a photograph of the city at night.

I no longer remember the name of the camera filter of my dead smartphone, but it was a bus that arrived at the bus station.

My shadow reflects on the dilemma of why we have access to everything that we do not need today. And when we really need it, it is inaccessible.

A little cleaning and diving into black and white is like warm water, lol.

I could say that this is a very "revolutionary" approach. "We will destroy this world to the ground, and then ..." :-)
Are you sure it was a locker room on the beach? I kept thinking about the door somewhere... :))

My shadow is thinking about the dilemma of why we have access to everything we don't need today. And when we really need it, it's not available.

That's exactly the point. Moreover, this happens at the level of the law of life 🤣 😂😅

Yes, often, in order to build something new, you need to break the old. I agree with you about the door to somewhere, lol.
When I started work, I thought about a teleporter and this bus, or rather what came out of it, could become a teleporter, but I thought that it’s not science fiction that is much more important, but those moments of life that we encounter every day, for example, with dressing rooms on the beach outside the summer season :)

Despite the apparent simplicity, it is very difficult to decide what can be done with it.

Exactly, I felt the same way.

Your conversion is very imaginative and despite the gloomy image I had to laugh at some text passages. Wonderful.

Thank you! Many things have changed in our lives, well ... gadgets and so on, and the locker rooms on the beaches have remained as miserable as in times long gone, there is always a reason to smile and remember your perception of this miracle of civilization at different times of your life.

Very nice told, I had much fun in reading!

And a surrealistic picture as result...

Thank you very much! Have a great day!
