The story of one stump

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago (edited)

Yesterday I finally got out into the woods. I had a Helios 44-2 lens and macro rings with me. I could not get past one old rotten stump and now I will show why this happened.

This stump is densely overgrown with lichen, and lichen is its own vast world. However, there are many macro objects in the forest and I will have a whole series of posts (I hope) with immersion in the world of MACRO. Today is the first one

By the way, this lichen is medicinal. It has many useful properties, but most importantly - it strengthens the immune system.

Everything that you saw in the photos above - ... it all grows on this very stump. A wonderful stump.
And a couple of pictures separately.

They can also be attributed to the forest pharmacy. Another lichen and lingonberry leaf (I think you all know about it).

A time ago I drew some medicinal mushrooms,

I found it very interesting.
Do you know the name of the lichen in your photos?

There are several lichens on this stump. One of them

Cladonia deer (lat. Cladonia rangiferina) is a bushy lichen from the genus Cladonia. Due to the bushy, highly branched thallus, Cladonia deer is sometimes isolated in the genus Cladina.

Your drawing is very similar to a page from an old reference book, it turned out great. By the way, Cladonia is a very good model for the next page)))

In the last picture, Parmelia lichen is very good for immunity.
