The courtyards of the old town are not the most fun place. I like to wander there, shoot interesting finds, breathe the air of time. But everything is good in moderation. We will return there more than once. But today I want to show you the opposite of the previous plot.

This is a park designed for the recreation of the court nobility. I mean the royal court. Ordinary people in those days could only work here, their owners rested. This Oranienbaum Palace and Park Ensemble

Oranienbaum (German Oranienbaum — the Orange tree, but the city's coat of arms depicts an orange tree - German. Orangenbaum, obviously due to an erroneous translation [source not specified 620 days]) is a palace and park ensemble on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, 40 km west of St. Petersburg. It is located on the territory of the city of Lomonosov (until 1948 — Oranienbaum) and includes palaces and parks of the XVIII century.

The Palace and Park Ensemble is part of the World Heritage Monument "The Historical Center of St. Petersburg and related monument complexes"

I am not a court member ... now the entrance here is open to everyone, though for money. I had enough money for an entrance ticket :) It was already late autumn (mid-October), there were continuous rains and strong winds blowing. There was a decent fall of leaves and I was counting on the bare crowns of trees. To my surprise and joy, I found the remnants of a golden autumn. Combined with palaces, sculptures and paths, it looked great.

Sunlight appeared, then someone turned it off. The photos turned out to be different, so I applied different post-processing options to them. Feel the difference, as they say.

We walked late and drove home in the dark. October is not winter yet, but twilight comes early.

Дворы старого города не самое весёлое место. Я люблю там бродить, снимать интересные находки, дышать воздухом времени. Но всё хорошо в меру. Мы ещё не раз вернёмся туда. Но сегодня я хочу показать вам противоположность предыдущего сюжета.

Это парк предназначенный для отдыха дворовой знати. Я имею в виду царский двор. Простые люди в те времена могли здесь только работать, отдыхали их хозяева. Это Дворцово-парковый ансамбль Ораниенбаум

Ораниенба́ум (нем. Oranienbaum — древо Оранских, однако на гербе города изображено померанцевое дерево - нем. Orangenbaum, очевидно, вследствие ошибочного перевода[источник не указан 620 дней]) — дворцово-парковый ансамбль на южном берегу Финского залива в 40 км к западу от Санкт-Петербурга. Находится на территории города Ломоносова (до 1948 года — Ораниенбаум) и включает в себя дворцы и парки XVIII века.

Я не являюсь придворным членом ... сейчас вход сюда открыт для всех желающих, правда за деньги. У меня хватило денег на входной билет :) Была уже поздняя осень (середина октября), шли непрерывные дожди и дули сильные ветры. Прошёл приличный листопад и я рассчитывал на обнажённые кроны деревьев. К моему удивлению и радости я застал остатки золотой осени. В сочетании с дворцами, скульптурами и дорожками это выглядело превосходно.

Солнечный свет то появлялся, то кто-то его выключал. Фотографии получились разные, поэтому я применил к ним разные варианты постобработки. Почувствуйте разницу, как говорится.

Гуляли мы до поздна и домой ехали уже в темноте. Октябрь это ещё не зима, но сумерки наступают рано.
