RE: Be cautious about Abuse Identity Fraud Steem/ Hive/Blurt
@tempestinyang, @ezunjoshy . Gentlemen, your dispute is solved very simply. The copyright belongs to the one who first published the drawing. The later publication of the drawing can be considered plagiarism. This is the copyright law.
@stef1 I invite these two gentlemen to submit their first publication of a drawing with a confirmed publication date. It does not matter where the work was exhibited (location), the date of publication with confirmation of its authenticity is important.
In the case of publication in Stееmit, everything is simple, each post has a confirmed date.
If the work is in the gallery, then a photo together with the work will not be enough. Need a photo of the document with the date of placement in the gallery.
Предложи им прислать под этот пост комментарий с подтверждением даты публикации, это решит все споры.
Thanks, @bambuka. Mine is already on my wall with reference included. I just think he isn't familiar with plagiarism accusations and how it affect one's work.
It all depends on the date of the first publication. Whoever published the drawing earlier is right :)
Okay, thanks.
Are you saying I can't post mine anymore?
Because I planned posting it later.
Everything I wanted to say, I have already said. In order to prove that this is your drawing, you just have to provide proof of an earlier date of creation of your drawing. For example, the document of acceptance of your drawing to the gallery with the date of acceptance.
I created that job years ago. I can't remember.
The gallery I hung it didn't do any documentation so no such proof is available.
Thank you. But I will post the work when I am ready to.
You can post whatever you want. Who can forbid it?
But in the case of a copyright dispute, only the date of the first publication matters.
