RE: The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #098 - 20STEEM/14SBI in prizes! - Submissions post (Calgary, Alberta, Canadá 100% PowerUp)

No matter how beautiful the photo is, but if it is one and only a few words ... this is more suitable for the Twitter short message format :)
3 or more photos + informative text will make your post more attractive to curators. But I think I have already spoken about this.

Sort:

In a way I do agree with you @bambuka, but @nathart's post was a submission to the particular cityscape photo contest, so I think it's fine if she used just one photo and has written only few words. After all, she has sticked to the rules of the contest as written by @axeman. Don't you agree?

But what she actually did not do properly, is she has not posted the link to her post in the comments below the contest announcement.

Hi @zorank
Before my answer, I got acquainted with your blog. I love your photos and I understand the reason for your comment.
I do not demand anything from anyone. There was a time when I also posted 1 photo per post and thought that I had done a great job, for which I will now be rewarded. Alas...
It so happened on this blockchain that the attention of curators is more attracted by more voluminous posts with 3 or more photos and interesting informative text.
There are, of course, exceptions and a bright photo attracts the attention of the curator, who votes without opening the post. But this rarely happens and I would not advise beginners to rely on such luck. Once she smiles, she can just turn away.
For myself, I have another criterion for assessing: the post can be formal, or the post can require a lot of work to create. What category do you think I would categorize a post with one photo and a couple of accompanying words?
Как модератор по поддержке новичков я могу рекомендовать пост на курацию разной степени силы.
Some beautiful photos and interesting text I'm not ashamed to present @stef1 for the support of the post from the Stimit team. But I will never recommend a post with one photo there, no matter how beautiful it is.
This is my approach, it may be wrong. But this approach is used by many curators.

I appreciate your comment @bambuka and I agree that we need more quality structured stories and blogs here on the blockchain. Such posts can obviously get more attention, interest and support by curators. No doubt about that.

@Bambuka, you're right, I'm sorry, it's that I've been in the midst of traveling and little I have been able to sit down to prepare a post well, there are also some where I can't post three photos, like in the NFSW contest since the rest Of the photos that accompany the chosen one are very similar or if they work, I lose them in the post practically when I publish them, although I understand your point.
