    @bambuka Sad, yes - I had just cut them from the main plant. It was a cold, dark snow day and I was feeling very "monochrome". I was going for the dramatic bony sharp detail of the flowers. Almost flower skeletons.

      I have such a plant. Periodically, it releases this strange flower. Usually they dry up. I'll have to try to shoot them the next time they appear ))
