Sometimes I wonder why the trees are so young.

We climb up to a high bank overgrown with pine trees.
In this place the soil is sandy and the sand is gradually crumbling.
The roots of the pine trees are exposed.
In the struggle for life, trees strengthen their roots.
Some roots even look like trunks.
It's unusual to see treetops at your eye level.
Yes, we don't have mountains, it would be familiar there.
However, not all trees win in this struggle for existence.
