Night Abstractions

It all started with the fact that I was going to clean up the desktop. Before leaving the city, I went through different lenses. I had to decide what to take with me. Some of the homemade lenses remained on the table...

Putting things in order, I took one of them in my hands. It was a homemade monocle (a lens with one glass inside made from a slide projector lens). It was already night outside and the light was on in the room. Curiosity, curiosity and the desire to experiment are to blame for everything...the table remained unassembled.

I put the monocle to the camera body and pointed it at my indoor plants.
Then I looked out the window.
The lens was not attached to the camera body and I could deflect the optical axis at will.
This gave different effects on the light sources.

Всё началось с того, что я собрался навести порядок на рабочем столе. Перед отъездом за город я перебирал разные объективы. Надо было решить, что взять с собой. Часть самодельных объективов осталась на столе...

Наводя порядок я взял один из них в руки. Это был самодельный монокль (объектив с одним стеклом внутри сделанный из объектива проектора слайдов). За окном была уже ночь и в комнате горел свет. Любопытство, во всём виновато любопытство и желание экспериментировать...стол остался неразобранным.

Я приложил монокль к корпусу камеры и навёл его на свои комнатные растения.
Затем я выглянул в форточку.
Объектив не был прикреплён к корпусу камеры и я мог отклонять оптическую ось по своему желанию.
Это давало разные эффекты на источники света.
