Man made waterfall #club100

A couple of centuries ago, monks from Athos came to these lands to build a new monastery. They found the place they wanted and erected this monastery. Now it is called New Athos. And the place itself was named New Athos (Abkhazia). In addition to the monastery, the monks built a man-made waterfall on the bed of the Psirtskha River, and below they organized a system of ponds and laid out a beautiful park around them.

Пару веков назад монахи с Афона приехали на эти земли для постройки нового монастыря. Они нашли место какое хотели и воздвигли этот монастырь. Теперь он называется Новоафонским. А само место получило название Новый Афон (Абхазия). Кроме монастыря монахи построили рукотворный водопад на русле реки Псирцха, а ниже организовали систему прудов и разбили вокруг них прекрасный парк.

It was raining that day and it was difficult for me to shoot. In addition to water, a lot of splashes rose from the heavens from the waterfall, which were carried by the wind nearby.

В тот день шёл дождь и мне трудно было снимать. Помимо воды с небес от водопада поднималось много брызг, которые ветром разносило рядом.

I had to constantly wipe the lens. But it was a beautiful sight and I could not miss it.

Мне приходилось постоянно протирать объектив. Но это было красивой зрелище и я не мог его пропустить.
