Industar-26M MACRO [CONTEST STEEMINKLUSIVE WEEK IX - MACROPHOTOGRAPHY - WORLDOFXPILAR]

This fall, in a small park in St. Petersburg, I needed to spend some time. I was waiting for the end of the lessons at the school where my granddaughter is studying. Yes, I was the grandfather on duty that day.
When I go outside, I always take my camera with me. This has become my constant habit. That is why I had no time to be sad while waiting, being in this park. I just uncovered the camera and started studying plants.
The first thing that caught my attention was the barberry bush. In the fall, he was painted with warm paints.

Этой осенью в небольшом парке Санкт-Петербурга мне нужно было провести некоторое время. Я ждал, когда закончатся уроки в школе, где учится моя внучка. Да, я был в тот день дежурным дедушкой.
Отправляясь на улицу я всегда веру с собой камеру. Это стало моей постоянной привычкой. Именно поэтому мне некогда было грустить в ожидании, находясь в этом парке. Я просто расчехлил камеру и занялся изучением растений.
Первое, что привлекло моё внимание, был куст барбариса. Осенью он окрасился тёплыми красками.

It was not easy to find some of the angles. Sharp thorns sometimes pricked painfully, sometimes caught on my clothes and caused tremors of the branches. I had to wait for the movement of the subject to stop. It rained the day before (this is normal weather for our city) and water drops were an additional decoration of the plants. And sometimes the main subject of photography.
That day I installed a lens from a FED-2 film camera on the camera. This is an old mass camera from the times of the USSR. To get the macro format, I had to set up two macro rings.

Было не просто найти некоторые ракурсы. Острые шипы иногда больно кололись, иногда цеплялись за мою одежду и вызывали сотрясения веток. Приходилось выжидать, когда движение объекта съёмки остановится. Накануне прошёл дождь (для нашего города это обычная погода) и капли воды были дополнительным украшением растений. А иногда и главным объектом съёмки.
В тот день я установил на камеру объектив от плёночного фотоаппарата ФЭД-2. Это старый массовый фотоаппарат времён СССР. Чтобы получить макро формат мне пришлось установить два макро кольца.

The Industar-26M lens has f / 2.8, but there was little light inside the bushes. I had to increase the ISO to 800. As a result, the grain in the image increased slightly. In addition, due to the peculiarities of the optics of the lens itself, the pictures turned out to be soft. For artistic macro, this can be an added plus. Running around the bush, I tried to find a different background color for the berries.

Объектив Индустар-26М имеет f/2.8, но было мало света внутри кустов. Мне пришлось увеличить ISO до 800 единиц. В результате немного увеличилось зерно на снимке. Кроме того за счёт особенностей самой оптики объектива снимки получились мягкими. Для художественного макро это может быть дополнительным плюсом. Бегая вокруг куста я пытался найти разный цвет фона для ягод.

Of course, the background can be changed during post processing, but that's a different story.

Конечно, фон можно поменять при пост обработке, но это другая история.

You can get interesting bokeh with this lens, but for that you need to look for light on small details.

С этим объективом можно получить интересное бокэ, но для этого нужно искать свет на мелких деталях.

For myself, I concluded that I have not yet fully revealed the capabilities of this simple and cheap lens (less than $ 10). Well, let's experiment further.

Для себя я сделал вывод о том, что возможности этого простого и дешёвого объектива (меньше $10) я ещё не раскрыл до конца. Ну что же, будем экспериментировать дальше.
