Первым моим желанием было обратиться к окнам домов старого Петербурга. У меня много городских фотографий со зданиями, фасадами, окнами. Там есть достойные образцы для любого конкурса. Но что-то меня остановило. Мне захотелось показать другие окна.
My first desire was to turn to the windows of the houses of old Petersburg. I have a lot of city photos with buildings, facades, windows. There are decent samples for any competition. But something stopped me. I wanted to show other windows.
Этой зимой мы посетили посёлок Лисий Нос. Такое же название носит один из мысов Финского залива. Этот посёлок дорог мне своими деревянными домами прошлого и позапрошлого века. К сожалению их остаётся всё меньше, но тем ценнее каждый из них.
Можно сказать, что этот флигель вместо стен имеет сплошные окна. Конечно, это рассчитано на солнечную погоду и красивую природу как вид из окна. Это можно назвать верандой, а может быть раньше здесь был зимний сад.
This winter we visited the village of Fox Nose. One of the capes of the Gulf of Finland bears the same name. This village is dear to me with its wooden houses of the last and the century before last. Unfortunately, there are fewer of them, but the more valuable each of them is.
We can say that this wing has solid windows instead of walls. Of course, this is designed for sunny weather and beautiful nature as a view from the window. This can be called a veranda, or maybe there used to be a winter garden here.
Геометрия дома претерпела некоторые искажения. В них проявляется время и характер. Рядом с таким домом я чувствую связь времён.
The geometry of the house has undergone some distortions. Time and character manifest themselves in them. Next to such a house, I feel the connection of times.

First of all thank you for your contribution to the contest.
Secondly, it is also appreciated that you show us a building with such a peculiar structure, in which the windows could not be less 'surreal'. There is no denying that as an architectural structure, the window element is very original.

In Russia, such windows are usually called verandah windows. They have a large area, but are divided into small fragments (sometimes completely different shapes). This has its own meaning, you can dial a large window from small glasses :)
