"I'm the master of my fate, I'm the captain if my soul.."

Sometimes things don't go as planned. Well, this was the result of it. I had this quote in mind for which I wanted to paint.

Whenever I think about this, I always see a small ship on a gigantic wave. Yes, I've painted this one before. Here it is -

So, yesterday I had some other ideas for it that I wanted to try out. In one, I wanted a spiral galaxy originating from the wave and in the center ship on the wave in front of the golden moon. Well, in my head it looks gorgeous but what I painted was simply not as good. 😅

Here's the second one - another failed attempt. Well, this made me realize how much I need to practice watercolors again. 😛

Well, I ain't giving up on these yet, I want to further try them as ink art. Simple black and white Illustration. So, what do you think?
