Photo of the week #6 - The Central Post of Klaipeda
One of the most beautiful architectural ensembles of the city - postal complex consisting of 3 buildings built in 1893 when Klaipeda (Memel) became important transit point of the postal road from Konigsberg through the Curonian Spit and further to Riga, Tallinn and St.Petersburg
It is still remains in authentic conditions and actually this year finally the central post moved out of there to a new and more modern premises. Not sure what will be there now, maybe some kind of museum, will see
