Painted Dream
This is an entry to "Iniciativa Impulso - Semana 02" photography and art contest run by @jacorv
If you would ask me what represents my Country, there could be too many answers in fact. But coming closer to my native city Klaipeda (Lithuania), the most obvious answer would be Baltic Sea, on the coast of which the city is situated.
And maybe my answer would be quite impacted by the fact, that I'm a landscape photographer and Baltic Sea is one of my "main models" :)
Location of the city on a Eastern coast of Baltic Sea makes it perfect for seascape shooting on sunsets. This is much more convenient time, also counting that you can a bit estimate if you may face some stunning sunset a bit in advance. While high humidity of Baltic Sea region very often brings stunning color palette on sunsets (and sunrises too)
And here we go with not so old shot done June this year. Totally calm sea, which happens not so often, looks just like a painted reality with those almost unreal colors everywhere, combined with nice cloud formations and interesting foreground
