RE: ROMANIE´s world and WOX - Literary Contest
Diwali is one of the largest religious festival in india. On this day Hindu's Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya with Sita Mata and Lakshmana after 14 years of exile and after defeating Ravana. Basically it symbolises the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Lighting diyas (🪔), candles and bursting firecrackers is a part of this festival
I understand that this is a very important event in the life of the Indian people. And fire is part of an ancient tradition. However, it can be replaced with modern light, without pollution. Thanks for the clarification.
