Cryptid PART 1 introduced the Cryptids’ ability system and various stats.
In this post, I would like to explain why users should collect Cryptids and how Cryptids affect the battle system.

Cryptids are the most important system in CryptoHunterWorld.

As of beta testing, there are over 50 Cryptids that users can collect.
This is an important factor in solving M2E boredom.

The M2E project provides motivation to users by rewarding them for walking and running. However, for greater profits, you need to walk or run for long periods of time. This can cause fatigue and boredom for users in the long run.
CryptoHunter World seeks to solve these problems through collecting Cryptids. Users do not simply walk and run, but battle or capture Cryptids they encounter along the way, gaining a sense of accomplishment through rewards for their exercise and having fun collecting Cryptids.

Why users need to capture a lot of Cryptids

The reason why users need to capture a lot of Cryptids is to strengthen Cryptids and because capturing Cryptids with better PV is advantageous in battle. When users capture Cryptids, they can obtain an item called Cryptid’s Block. This item is used to strengthen Cryptids, and each Cryptid has its own Cryptid’s Block, so collecting it is very important.

Cryptid’s Block is an essential material item to enhance Cryptid Power.

Battle System and Cryptids

The Cryptids battle system that will be added to PvP clarifies why users should collect various Cryptids.
PvP is an important element of the P2E system, and additional rewards are provided to users who win battles. However, this battle system is not just a pay-to-win system, but requires a very strategic combination of Cryptids.

According to the rules set each season, users must strategically utilize various Cryptids. Example rules include:
• Cryptid Power Unlimited: Only Water, Grass, and Ice type Cryptids can be used.
• Cryptid Power 1500 or less: All types of Cryptids can be used.
• Cryptid Power 2500 or less: Only dark and fire type Cryptids can be used.

These PvP combat rules allow users to understand that collecting powerful Cryptids does not always mean they will win. There is no need to power up all Cryptids, as Cryptid Power limits where they can participate in battle. Sometimes non-hardened Cryptids can be more useful.
And users must be able to collect various types of Cryptids and participate according to various battle rules.

The importance of collecting various types of Cryptids

There are a total of 18 types of Cryptids. If a certain user does not have the necessary types for the new season’s battles or has not collected enough powerful Cryptids, it will be difficult to achieve a high win rate in this season.
