If you recall the movie about the Terminator Schwarzenegger, then he learned emotions and jokes.
There are a lot of works of art about such problems of robots and emotions.
Isaac Asimov was probably the first researcher of this problem.

I've been wanting to reread his books for a long time. But as always, there is no time. And another problem - my eyes get tired when reading books. I tried to use glasses, but somehow it didn't go very far. Can listen to audiobooks while traveling in a car. I did this last winter, but now for some reason I forgot about it. It's a good idea!
We have had mixed experiences with books that used to be favourites: some seemed even more colourful, even more exquisite. Others were just naïve and boring for us old, detached people.... ;-))
