Photo of the week - Sunrise on the river

In order to meet the dawn in the summer, you either need to stay up until 2 o'clock or... it's better not to go to bed, because not everyone will be able to wake up before sunrise. Another option is to sleep in nature. And this means you need to go, for example, on a fishing trip with an overnight stay by the river or on a camping trip, sit by the campfire at night. Now such nights have come that the sunset-sunrise is visible in the sky all through the short summer night. Of course, there are so-called "white nights" in St. Petersburg, but they are "even whiter" north of St. Petersburg. My son in the Arkhangelsk region still has the Sun shining at 11 at night, for example.
But to shoot this sunrise, I specifically went to the river after waking up.

Чтобы летом встретить рассвет нужно или не ложиться спать часов до 2 или... лучше всё же не ложиться, потому что не все смогут проснуться до восхода Солнца. Еще вариант - спать на природе. А это значит нужно идти, например, на рыбалку с ночевкой у реки или в туристический поход, посидеть ночью у костра. Сейчас наступили такие ночи, что закат-восход виден на небе всю короткую летнюю ночь. Конечно, есть так называемые "белые ночи" в Санкт-Петербурге, но еще белые они севернее Питера. У сына в Архангельской области в 11 ночи еще светит Солнце, например.
А вот для съёмки этого рассвета я специально пошел в сторону реки после пробуждения.


Sunrise on the river is a separate topic. It's not the same as watching the sunrise from a window or in a forest or in a field. The river becomes a mirror. And now it shines into my eyes not only from above, but also from below. And in this case, you need to have dark glasses for fishing, and even better polarizing ones. Almost always in the morning the sun shines in my eyes while fishing.

Рассвет на реке - это отдельная тема. Это совсем не тоже самое, что наблюдать рассвет из окна или в лесу. Река становится зеркалом. И вот оно светит мне в глаза не только сверху, но и снизу. И нужно на рыбалке в таком случае иметь тёмные очки, а еще лучше поляризационные. Практически всегда утром солнце на рыбалке светит мне в глаза.


I hope that my sunrise will not be the worst at the competition. I have a lot of sunrise photos. But today I wanted to show exactly this sunrise. Why? Because I'm going to go to the river in the morning. But it won't be sunrise at all.

Я надеюсь, чот мой восход будет не самым худшим на конкурсе. У меня много фотографий с восходом. Но сегодня мне захотелось показать именно это. Почему? Потому что я утром собираюсь съездить на реку. Но это уже ьбудет не совсем восход.
