Bicycles on Mount Tibidabo

1. Spain. Catalonia. Barcelona. Christmas Eve. And I'm walking up Mount Tibidabo. The weather is fine, not hot, but not cold either - a very comfortable temperature of + 20 degrees. I like this weather at home even in the summer, and here is such a temperature at Christmas.
   Of course, this place is simply created in order to ride a bike all year round. It is comfortable to ride a bike in my region for a maximum of 4 months, and even then with an eye on the weather.
   And here I am walking up Mount Tibidabo, and cyclists are still riding and riding - up the mountain and off the mountain, in a group and alone.
   
   2018 год. Испания. Каталония. Барселона. Канун Католического Рождества. И я шагаю на гору Тибидабо. Погода прекрасная, не жарко, но и не холодно - очень комфортная температура +20 градусов. Я у себя дома даже летом люблю такую погоду, а здесь такая температура в Рождество.
   Конечно, это место просто создано для того, чтобы ездить круглый год на велосипеде. Это в моём регионе на велосипеде комфортно ездить максимум 4 месяца, да и то с оглядкой на погоду.
   И вот я шагаю на гору Тибидабо, а велосипедисты всё едут и едут - на гору и с горы, группой и одиночки.

Я стараюсь не афишировать своё любопытство к велосипедистам и фотографирую держа аппарат на уровне своего живота, как бы просто неся его в руках. Не все же люди любят быть сфотографированными на улице.

I climbed the mountain, and standing on the observation deck, I looked at the road that I had just climbed up. A road in the mountains is not at all like a road on the plain. It's hard for cyclists to climb, but it's very good to go down!
By the way, about this. Mountains and hills in the locality, cities and villages are one of the constraining factors of bicycle development. As an example, there is no public transport in the city where my mother-in-law lives. The city is stretched along the river and there are absolutely no hills. In summer, you can see a lot of people on bicycles in the city. These can be children, and even pensioners - men and women. Often older people ride simple Soviet-made bicycles that do not have gear shifting. It is on such bicycles that it is difficult to climb the mountains.

Я поднялся на гору, и стоя на смотровой площадки смотрел на дорогу, по которой только что поднимался вверх. Дорога в горах - это совсем не то, что дорога на равнине. Тяжело велосипедистам подниматься, зато очень хорошо спускаться!
Кстати, по этому поводу. Горы и холмы в населенном пункте - это один из сдерживающих факторов развития велосипеда. Как пример, в городе, в котором живет моя тёща отсутствует общественный транспорт. Город растянут вдоль реки и там нет абсолютно никаких возвышенностей. Летом в городе можно увидеть много людей на велосипедах. Это могут быть и дети, и даже пенсионеры - мужчины и женщины. Часто люди в возрасте ездят на простых велосипедах еще советского производства, которые не имеют переключение скоростей. Именно на таких велосипедах трудно подниматься в горы.

Да, на горе на смотровой площадке перед парком аттракционов и рядом с Храмом Святого Сердца было много велосипедов и гуляющих людей в форме велосипедистов. Дальше ехать некуда. Только вниз.
