My town Nnewi is located under Nnewi North Local Government Area in Anambra State, Nigeria! Today I will tell you about my town with just 10 pics.

1. St. Michael De Archangel Catholic Church

St. Michael De Archangel Parish is a Catholic church located at No. 145 Owerri Rd. Umudim Nnewi. It is a place of worship where christians worship their God. It is under the Catholic diocese of Nnewi and under Nnewi North Local Government Area. The church is very popular in Nnewi. It can easily be located by anybody. It is close to traffic lights! Anybody that wants to worship with them can easily trace from the below Google map!

2. Traffic Light

The Traffic Light is located close to st. Michael de archangel parish discussed above. It is a four corner junction where every vehicle slows down in order to obey the traffic lights. Though the traffic light is no longer functional but the name still exists in the mouths of people! This place is still located under Nnewi North Local Government.

3. Gracia Salad Centre

Gracia Salad is a well-known eatery in my town. It is owned by a wealthy business woman. It is located at No. 10 Onitsha - Okigwe Express way, near traffic light Nnewi. The owner of this place is my father's customer. They sell salad, fried rice and chicken, cakes, peanut, and others. They Open by 9am and closes by 10pm!

4. Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

This place is owned by a well-known billionaire in Nigeria, Innocent Chukwuma(Innoson). Innoson manufactures vehicles such as cars and motorcycles. The place in picture is his show room for his motorcycles only! It is located along No.145 Owerri Rd. Nnewi!

5. Oando Filling Station

Oando Filling Station is very popular in my town. It is owned by a wealthy business man, Ilechukwu. Their service is one in a kind. They Open by 7am and closes by 8pm. It is located along Nnewi - Owerri Rd. You can buy fuel, diesel, and kerosene here.

6. The Light Hospital and Maternity Nnewi

The light hospital and maternity is located behind Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu house. They treat any kind of diseases. They're open for 24hrs everyday! To your greatest surprise, this hospital is very close to my house. Check it out on the Google Map below!

7. St. Stephen Anglican Church

This Anglican church is located along Onitsha - Owerri Express way, Nnewi. They have fine structures inside the church premises. The church is few meters away from my house.

8. A-Z Filling Station

Owned by a well-known billionaire in Nigeria, known with his business name, Chicason. They sell refined petroleum products like fuel, diesel, and kerosene. I have worked as a security personnel in this place before, during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. It is also located along Onitsha - Okigwe Express way, Nnewi. The filling station once collapsed in 2016 after a heavy rainfall!

9. CC. Martins Plaza

This plaza is a place for exchange of goods and services. Some people rented shops inside the plaza and sell goods like clothes (boutique), Provisions (mini supermarket). It is a newly built plaza of barely 1 year of start of operation!

10. Bennet Etiaba Memorial Nursery and Primary School

The school is located along No. 148 Ozubulu Rd. Inyaba Umudim. The school was built by Dame Virginia Ngozi Etiaba, the first female governor in Anambra State.
