New Year's Eve Moscow

in WORLD OF XPILAR9 months ago

Hello friends!!!
Today is the day of the urban landscape from @axeman and I will be happy to show you some photos with festive New Year decor.
I really liked the bright luminous carousel in retro style. It was nice to look at her.....but....I was surprised that there was a queue of people who wanted to ride it. (it was just freezing -15 Celsius, I was very cold, but the children enjoyed riding).
New Year's holidays are the most beloved by the people. They seem to divide winter in half and everyone knows that after a colorful long holiday, the daylight will increase. Without such a bright and cheerful holiday, it would be very difficult for us to survive the winter. People would have been depressed, because in December there was no sun at all, and in January the day is very short.
Well, now I suggest you enjoy the festive atmosphere together!
Enjoy watching))

Without such a bright and cheerful holiday, it would be very difficult for us to survive the winter.

I live in the southern United States, and the winters here are very mild. We may get one or two days when we barely dip below zero by a couple of degrees celsius (20’s Fahrenheit). We may get 15 days when we are in the low single digits celsius (30’s Fahrenheit). The rest of the time we are in the 40s and 50s Fahrenheit.

It makes sense that a lot of the winter holidays, like Christmas and New Year's…began in places a lot colder than here… like northern Europe and Russia. Those holiday celebrations get people through the harsh and dark winters.

Oh, many people here would like to live in your warm climate. Many who can afford to work remotely fly to live in Thailand, Bali, Turkey for the winter....where it's warm))
