Landscapes in the mountains of Sochi

Today we will take a little walk in the mountains. I took these shots exactly 2 years ago. It was in 2021 that I was in Sochi for the first time and traveled around the neighborhood as much as possible. The most picturesque places there are not on the sea, where thousands of tourists rest, but in the mountains (but this is from the point of view of the photographer) I have never been so high, and here with the help of a funicular I climbed to a height of 2340 meters above sea level. At this altitude, the air is very unusual, it is clean and already slightly discharged. To saturate the blood with oxygen, you need to breathe more often, and physical activity is more difficult. Many athletes because of this specially come to the mountains for training. Going up and down on the funicular was an amazing adventure. Just an iron crossbar protects you from falling, which is easy to lift over your head and jump down on the rocks. I was afraid of accidentally dropping my backpack with equipment. But if there were no such vivid emotions, then I would not have remembered about this trip. Emotions and photos are what gives us the strength to strive to open new horizons in life.
This year I was invited to visit Sochi again. It remains to find financial and temporary opportunities for a new trip.

Сегодня мы совершим маленькую прогулку в горы. Эти кадры я сделал ровно 2 года назад. именно в 2021 году я впервые был в Сочи и максимально путешествовал по окрестностям. Самые живописные места там не на море, где отдыхают тысячи туристов, а в горах (но это с точки зрения фотографа) Так высоко я никогда не был, а тут с помощью фуникулера я поднимался на высоту 2340 метров над уровнем моря. На такой высоте очень непривычный воздух, он чистый и уже слегка разряженный. Чтобы насытить кровь кислородом, то надо чаще дышать, а физические нагрузки даются труднее. Многие спортсмены из-за этого специально приезжают в горы для проведения тренировок. Подниматься и спускаться на фуникулере было удивительным приключением. От падения тебя защищает просто железная перекладина, которую легко поднять над головой и выскочить вниз на камни. Я боялся случайно выронить рюкзак с аппаратурой. Но если бы не было таких ярких эмоций, то я бы и не вспоминал про это путешествие. Эмоции и фотографии - это то, что дает нам силы для стремления открывать в жизни новые горизонты.
В этом году меня снова приглашали в гости в Сочи. Остается найти финансовые и временные возможности для новой поездки.
