A walk in the foothill forest

Hello friends!!!
Today we will take a walk in an unusual Crimean forest. I was there a few years ago in November and at this time of year hiking in the mountains was more attractive than relaxing by the sea. The temperature was about +15 Celsius and it was already too cold to swim (although we climbed into the sea once, and then warmed up with good Crimean wine).
But hiking in the foothill forests is very picturesque at this time of year. In the photo you can see a yellow carpet made of leaves under your feet. There are so many of them that sometimes you walk on a 10-15 cm layer and your legs just fall inside. I've never seen this before.

I made these shots when my brother and sister of his wife, who lives in the Crimea and to whom we came to visit, went to Chatyr-dag Mountain.

Сегодня мы прогуляемся в необычном крымском лесу. Я там был несколько лет назад в ноябре и в это время года походы в горы были более привлекательными, чем отдых у моря. Температура была примерно +15 по цельсию и купаться уже слишком холодно ( хотя мы один раз и залезли в море, а потом согрелись хорошим крымским вином).
А вот походы в предгорные леса очень живописны в это время года. На фото вы видите желтый ковер под ногами из листьев. Их так много, что порой ты идешь по 10-15 см слою и ноги прям проваливаются внутрь. Такого я раньше не видел.

Эти кадры я сделал, когда мы с братом и сестрой его жены, которая живет в крыму и к которой мы приехали в гости, пошли к горе Чатыр-даг.
