Visit The Red Cotton Bugs "House"

Today I spent my time visiting the "home" of the red cotton bugs (Dysdercus cingulatus). Actually, this is just a coincidence, when I was looking for a photography spot I saw so many young red cotton bugs (still in the nymph stage) crowding a leaf of the crown flower (Calotropis gigantea). It's really adorable to see them that many. It generally takes 30 to 40 days for the nymphs to grow into mature.

Hari ini aku menggunakan waktuku berkunjung ke "rumah" bapak pucung (Dysdercus cingulatus). Sebenarnya ini hanya sebuah kebetulan, ketika sedang mencari spot fotografi aku melihat begitu banyak kepik muda kapas muda (masih tahap nimfa) yang berkerumun di selembar daun tanaman biduri (Calotropis gigantea). Benar-benar menggemaskan melihat mereka sebanyak itu. Umumnya membutuhkan waktu 30 sampai 40 hari agar nimfa-nimfa itu tumbuh menjadi dewasa.
