Hi great members of the World of Xpilar Community.
I am here to share landscape photograph of my beautiful city of Uyo.

Uyo is the capital city of Akwa Ibom State otherwise called The Land of Promise in Nigeria. As the state capital, it is a cosmopolitan area. Here is the melting pot if several diverse cultures, tribes and traditions. It is also a very busy area due to some of the economic activities that take place here.

So many factors contribute to the beauty of the city. The area in the picture is close to the popular University of Uyo, federal university which has gone through various stages of metamorphosis right from when the state was still merged together with the neighboring Cross River State with the name Akwa-Cross.

This is a very prominent point in the city because it serves as a central location from where you can find your way to servaral other locations within the state. Here, there are taxis and buses to convey commuters to every other location. If you should para venture get lost in Uyo, by simply telling anyone you are going to Uniuyo Roundabout or Plaza, you are sure to be able to find your way.

As a very accommodating and welcoming city, anyone can come down here to feel or have fun at any time.
