World Of Macrophotography || Araneus Ventricosus ".Weaver Spiders"

Of all the species of Salticidae, they have various facial shapes. I always say that I really like this animal because it has a funny behavior. Sometimes when I take pictures, a Salticidae can jump and perch on the camera and my shoulder as if inviting me to do an attraction with it. After that what can I do, I can only laugh in my heart seeing its funny behavior.

This time I want to share a Salticidae that I think has a scary face. Its entire body is covered in very thick fur, the shape of its face looks different from ordinary salticidae because it has an elongated snout. Its scientific name is Araneus ventricosus, this spider has unique eyes. Araneus ventricosus is also known as a weaver spider because it is able to produce dutra from within its body.

Its calm demeanor and more silent and hiding in the leaves, I have to herd it so that it can come out to make it easier to take pictures. The lifestyle of Salticidae is very different from ordinary spiders, a Salticidae is almost impossible to build a web other than the one used in reproductive activities. When hunting prey, jumping spiders also do not build webs but use their silk which is tied together to make it easier for them to reach targets that are difficult to reach.
