Black Soldier Fly In My Lens || CONTEST STEEMIT - STEEM - TRON MACROPHOTOGRAPHY WOX COMMUNITY WEEK XXII
Black Soldier Fly, Environmentally Friendly.
Black Soldier Fly, Environmentally Friendly.
Black soldier fly are not found in human habitats and food, do not carry disease genes and black soldier fly larvae are more hygienic than ordinary flies.
There is an interesting fact about flies because not all flies bother humans. The black army fly (Hermentia illucens) is a fly species of many types of flies that are beneficial to humans. This fly is intentionally used as an innovation in handling and processing organic waste in Indonesia. Based on research, the black soldier fly can also reduce bad bacteria in the garbage.
Black soldier flies generally live in tropical climates. Although it is spread in almost all regions, the black soldier fly is not found in human habitat and food. So the black soldier fly larvae are more hygienic than house flies.
There are some interesting characters of the black soldier fly that ordinary flies don't have. These flies can reduce organic waste and can live in tolerance at a fairly high pH. These flies also do not carry disease genes and their life span as larvae is longer than usual because they can last up to four weeks. Because black soldier flies do not interfere with human life and are actually useful, these flies have been widely cultivated, especially for processing organic waste.
This fly is very small and has a unique shape. The body is small and elongated with a bluish black color, there is a motif like batik on the upper body making the black soldier fly look more beautiful and cute. Due to the fact that these flies are not pests and are often found in flowering plants.
I also found this fly on the allamanda plant in my yard. The first time I saw it, I was a little curious about this animal because if you saw it with the naked eye, it was very different from the insects or flies that I often saw. From the color alone, this animal looks unique, especially after I use a macro lens, the details on its body look more different from the usual insects or flies.
This fly is not an aggressive animal, so it was not difficult for me to take pictures. A little problem because when taking pictures because the weather was a little dark and lack of light because it was very late and this animal was small, it slightly reduced focus and clarity with objects. Hope you like it and thanks for visiting my blog.
