RE: Talk Channel: "Comment or ask a question"/ Comente o pregunte (week 268) in the WOX

To understand some things, it is important that you know something.

After the fork, Steemit was deserted in terms of activity, therefore, the team began to carry out a series of dynamics, including #thediarygame, which generated an increase in activity, even attracting new users.

A new need arose for the Steemit team, they wanted to address the attention to the largest number of users possible, for this they devised the Country Representatives, who had to serve the users of their respective countries, several Representatives became corrupted, while others did Power Down and "left". Over time, the Steemit team changed the role to Steem Representative which is what it is today.

As I once told you, SRs try to accomplish some tasks.

Are people still doing something just for the sake of good or the "glory"?
If large sums of money are involved corruption is the result and it still happens and blind eyes are turned to it. So I can only say: What do you expect?

There are plenty of solutions like (and I said the same with the SLC) by not promising high upvotes or whatever but see at the end of the year if a reward/bonus is a nice earned extra. It might make a world of difference (especially because the end of the year is a hard time for nearly everyone due to bills piling up and celebrations).

Powerdown?
Should all Steem remain here forever? It's told time after time that these are savings for "later" and in case of need. Who can decide what this case is need is and when?
Also: there are who did powerdown time after time (at least three times) and still receive high support and so on even after robbing the safe.
On the other hand there are also Steemians who are burned out by this platform and decided to leave.

A solution for the burn-out problem due to the extreme hard work done by some on this platform, and I talk about 20 hours non stop Steemit without a private life, might be a good thing as well. I doubt that is what the Steemit Team does.

Everyone tries hard in his/her own way. It's good to keep in mind that this is social media, it should be a fun place to be not a slavery where everyone is tiptoeing and people are afraid to express themselves which is still the current situation.

Thanks for the update and links I'll save them .
