Our Maker with Attitude in EDAT Academy 11/17 (Ionalise Villamizar)
My name is Ionalise Villamizar, I consider myself a versatile person, I am a #pharmacist but I have also liked to undertake and experience new things; I have always valued knowledge, I believe that we should never stop learning, knowledge opens doors and gives way to unimaginable things, it allows us to evolve!
The EDAT academy appeared at the precise moment of my life, when I most longed to open up something totally different, innovative, creative, I never thought that something could appear that would fit so perfectly and that could happen in our city.
Today thanks to #EDAT academy I feel committed not only to fight for my dreams but to help others fulfill theirs.
Ionalise is one of the 17 students who won a scholarship to attend the first year of maker training at EDAT. Our projects are convinced that the best way to combat poverty is through education. In fact our slogan as an academy is "hope through creativity"
My name is Abrahma Tansini. Graphic designer and illustrator. I am part of the team that carries out the EDAT project in Mérida-Venzuela. In fact I am the professor of the subject of analytical drawing, that studies the basic principles of drawing, composition and human anatomy. Drawing is an essential resource to communicate our ideas.
