Appreciating Nature's bounty

in WORLD OF XPILAR3 years ago

I started my weekend off with another visit to this forest, where I had some pruning to do. As usual I captured some photos while I was there and they will follow.

An Insect looking up

Here's a few looking up from the perspective of a little insect climbing up a Sitka Spruce tree.

Look Up

As you'll remember from previous forest posts, I always love to look up when in forests. There is just something about the view through the tree canopy that is so pleasing to the eye. Photos never quite do it justice, but here are a few again anyway.

Freshwater stream in middle of forest

I found this little stream dissecting the forest which was pretty cool and the sound of the water flowing was relaxing.

My handy work

I've cleared a path through the first bit of forestry, which will be great for bringing our dog for walks.
