= SOURED TARO LEAVES =

Greetings @healthrepublic. Welcome to my best natural recipe for feeding the brain. Thank you again for this opportunity.

We knew that brain played the great role in our nervous system. Without this, maybe what are we now? A zombie? or a robot? But of course, please,, no to zombie 😁.

The brain is arguably the most important organ in the human body. It controls and coordinates actions and reactions, allows us to think and feel, and enables us to have memories and feelings—all the things that make us human.

A lot of things we could do to make our brain healthy.

In order to take good care of our brain, one way to be with it, is no to negative thoughts. Because it can cause damage and pollution to the brain.

But of course we have to feed it with nutritious foods to make it function very well. And one of the best foods for the brain is green leafy vegetables.

I was so happy that my mother bought a lot of taro leaves. My father used to cook it while we were young back then to make it pair with rice. Every neighborhood have these plants in the farm, others in the backyard. Taro is very nutritious food.

Preparation:

  1. Wash taro leaves.
  2. Remove the tip of the leaves, because it is itchy when not removed.
  3. Put it in a kettle or a pan. Mix with onion, garlic, onion leaves, ginger, 1tsp salt, seasoning, and a little amount of water.
  4. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  5. Add some amount of vinegar and 1tsp. of cooking oil. Let it boil again.
  6. Serve, share, and enjoy.

"Soured Taro Leaves" is a miracle dish that has a range of health benefits.

There are a lot of foods for our brain, but this "taro leaves" made me interesting and I could say, it is really great. Because one of the best food for the brain is leafy greens. And for those who did not know, taro leaves is rich in Vitamin A, contains adequate quantities of Vitamins C, B, Thiamine, and Riboflavin.

If you are pregnant, taro leaves are good for you because besides its rich in nutrition, it contains folate acid which is essential for the development of the fetal brain and nervous system. Be sure to cook the taro leaves well before you eat them.

That would be all, thank you for passing by and taking time to read. Stay healthy steemians.
