Blood Pressure, The System of Blood Flow and A Healthy Recipe

I wanna inform you general information about blood pressure, the system of blood flow. Also, I shared a healthy recipe for Heart Pressure.

The heart pumps the blood in the circulatory system to the body by working continuously. A certain amount of pressure increases in all vessels while the heart pumps blood to the whole body through the aorta. Blood pressure has great importance for the tissues and organs to be adequately nourished and to maintain their normal functions.

How does the system work?

  • The oxygenated blood in the lungs first comes to the heart and from here is pumped to the body via the aorta.

  • The aorta which can be defined as the main vein emerging from the heart is divided into many veins.

  • These large vessels are known as arteries or arteries.

  • Large veins are divided into branches and connected to medium-sized veins. Then they connect to the capillaries at the end.

  • Thanks to all this vascular network, different cell types in the body are oxygenated.

  • After the oxygen carried in the veins is released into the body, the dirty blood returns to the heart through the vein.

  • The heart sends the blood pumping it into the lungs to re-oxygenate it.

  • Blood is sent to the veins by the pressure created during the pumping process of the heart. Meanwhile, the pressure created is at the highest level.

  • The heart muscle then relaxes and less pressure remains within the blood vessels during this time.

The pressure that builds up within the arteries is defined as Blood Pressure. The pressure that occurs during the heart's pumping of blood and the blood pressure that continues to continue the blood flow in the veins are evaluated separately.

1. Systolic Blood Pressure

As the heart pumps blood around the body, the pressure increase in the blood vessels at the highest level. This type of pressure is defined as systolic blood pressure. Ideal systolic blood pressure is in the range of 120 to 130 mmHg.

2. Diastolic Blood Pressure

The vessels, which expand with the effect of blood pressure apply pressure to the blood during the pulse interval of the heart, allowing the blood flow to continue. This pressure in the veins is diastolic blood pressure. It is ideal for diastolic blood pressure to be in the range of 70-90 mmHg.

A sudden drop in blood pressure can cause symptoms such as dizziness, weakness and fainting.

Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to serious health problems such as kidney failure, heart attack and cerebral hemorrhage.

There are natural ways to lower blood pressure. One of them is The Mediterranean Style Diet.

Mediterranean diets; It is rich in fruits, vegetables, seafood and omega-3 oils. Olive oil, flax seeds, fish especially salmon, various vegetables and fruits that you will consume in the Mediterranean diet will help you reduce your blood pressure naturally.

Salmon Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 fillet of salmon fish
  • 3 cherry tomatoes
  • Half green pepper
  • Half an onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions:

  • Heat a grill covered with olive oil, if the grill is not available you can also do it with a frying pan.
  • Put the fillet of salmon in it and cook both sides.
  • Put a pinch of salt. Add any spices you want.
  • When cooked, chop it and let it cool.
  • Cut the onion, put it on a plate covered with a little salt. Keep it for a few minutes.
  • Chop the tomatoes and green pepper.
  • Clean the salt on the onion. Then add the onion to the salad.
  • Add the chopped salmon.
  • Finally, drizzle some olive oil over the salad.
