A Healthy Dessert For Strength and Endurance

Hello everybody :)

We have announced a weekly contest in Health Republic Community with 50 STEEM Reward Pool.

The topic of the contest is The Best Meal For Strength and Endurance for this week (week 4).

The final date of this week's contest is 03.04.2021.

I wrote about HEALTHY DESSERT FOR STRENGTH.

Dried nuts have vitamins, minerals, health-beneficial oils that regulate the body and brain function. Walnut is the first type of dried nuts that comes to mind for vitality and energy.

Walnuts contain very rich in fat and protein. Walnut contains unsaturated fatty acids and lots of fiber. It is also rich in omega 3 ratio and vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties. Other nutrients in walnuts are vitamin B6, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, phosphorus.

Dates have a high carbohydrate content so it is a fruit with high energy. Date is a food rich in vitamins A and C, B group vitamins such as B1, B2, niacin, B6, as well as many minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, sodium, zinc, copper and selenium. It is very useful for the body thanks to the iron content of the date.

Eating dates helps control weight and blood sugar. It also contributes to meeting daily vitamin, mineral and fiber requirements.

Date Truffles with Walnuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 5 large dates
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons grated coconut

Instructions:

  • Keep the dates in warm water for 1-2 hours.
  • Then drain the water and add all the ingredients except the coconut grated.
  • Blend them with the blender.
  • When the mixture is like a dough, make walnut-sized balls.
  • Dip each ball into grated coconut and roll and then serve.

If desired, put it in a closed container and keep it in the freezer and then eat.
