Hi lovely people,

The issue of people suffering from conditions relating to heart pressure is becoming common these days.
I am pleased to participate in this contest to share one of the best recipes to cure those health-related conditions.
A huge thanks to (@dobartim @tatjanastan @enveng) for making it possible to have this contest.
We have to know what heart pressure is before we continue.

HEART PRESSURE
Heart pressure is a measure of the force that the heart can pump blood to all parts of the body.
Heart pressure can either be high or low, depending on the condition.
Blood pressure is measured in (mmHg), it has two phases,
systolic pressure the pressure of the arteries when the heart pumps blood out
diastolic pressure the pressure when the heart rests between heartbeats
For example, if the blood pressure is 140/90mmHg, then systolic pressure is 140mmHg and diastolic pressure is 90mmHg.
Normal blood pressure ranges from 90/60mmHg and 120/80mmHg.

Have high blood pressure (HBP or hypertension).
HBP is when the blood pressure or the force of the blood passing through the walls of your blood vessels is too high or above average.
High blood pressure (HBP, or hypertension) quietly damages blood vessels and leads to serious health problems which makes it known as the “silent killer.”
High blood pressure is high when the value is 140/90mmHg or higher.

Low blood pressure (LBP or hypotension).
LBP is when the blood pressure or the force of the blood passing through the walls of your blood vessels is too low or below normal
High blood pressure is high when the value is 90/60mmHg or lower.

SCIENCE BEHIND BLOOD PRESSURE

IN the human body, the cardiovascular system and the circulatory system work together to carry oxygenated blood to the vitals of the human body( tissues and organs) for their cellular respiration. These systems are coupled with a network of vessels in which blood flows through to all parts of the body. These vessels are arteries, veins and, capillaries.
The heart pumps blood with a pressure through which the blood moves through the vessels.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE

HBP forces the heart to pump harder, making it overwork, leading to serious health complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, etc.
Low blood pressure causes the blood pump not to reach the distal part of the body due to the blood's low pressure flowing through the vessels.
People with low blood pressure usually experience the following conditions: fainting, dizziness/lightheadedness, heart palpitations, nausea, fatigue, injury from falling or loss of consciousness, blurry vision, organ damage in severe cases.

COMMON WAYS TO CONTROL BLOOD PRESSURE

One would be able to control his or her blood pressure by knowing the Pressure first. Knowing this makes it possible to know the best method to adapt to control the blood pressure.

There are several ways one can control his or her blood pressure which includes eating a well-balanced diet that's low in salt, exercise regularly, limit alcohol intake, Take your medications properly, manage stress, maintain a healthy weight, quit smoking.

Citrus fruits such as orangesBerries, lemons, and grapefruit, have powerful blood-pressure-lowering effects. This food contains vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds essential in controlling blood pressure and keeping the heart healthy.
They also reduce heart disease risk factors like high blood pressure.
These fruits are good for controlling BP but can interfere with common blood-pressure-lowering medications, so it is advisable to consult your healthcare centre before adding this fruit to your diet.
Citrus fruits are needed to make the blood vessels soft and flexible, thus lowering blood pressure levels. Citrus contains some potassium, and Vitamin C, which serves as an antioxidant, eliminating free radicals from the body. High triglyceride and cholesterol levels can affect the liver and increase weight, affecting your blood pressure.
Cirus juice is known to lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels.
This makes it beneficial for individuals suffering from high blood pressure.

Daily lemon juice intake with walking was known to reduce blood pressure significantly.
Studies have also shown that drinking orange and grapefruit juice continuously helps reduce blood pressure.

That's very informative, thanks for this @blessingkasabe.
I also heard soursop and its leaves also help in mitigating blood pressure effectively. Ill try to write about it perhaps.
