Il bambù della fortuna, conosciuto scientificamente come Dracaena sanderiana, appartiene alla famiglia delle Asparagaceae. Originario delle foreste tropicali dell'Africa centrale e dell'Asia, questa pianta è molto apprezzata per la sua eleganza e la facilità di coltivazione, rendendola una scelta popolare per la decorazione di interni e per il Feng Shui.
La Dracaena sanderiana è una pianta erbacea perenne che può raggiungere un'altezza di 1-1,5 metri. Presenta steli eretti e sottili, di colore verde chiaro o verde scuro, talvolta striati di bianco o giallo. Lucky bamboo is extremely versatile and can grow both in water and in soil. When grown in water, it is sufficient to immerse the roots in a container of water, taking care to change it every two weeks to avoid stagnation. It is important not to expose the plant to direct sunlight, as the leaves can burn; indirect and diffused light is ideal for its growth.
