La statua è molto famosa, si tratta di due amanti un marinaio e una nutrice che si baciano in riva al mare a Civitavecchia.
La statua è realizzata sulla base di una fotografia del fotografo americano Alfred Eisenstadt realizzata a New York il 14 agosto 1945 in occasione della fine della seconda guerra mondiale.
La scultura è stata per qualche tempo negli Stati Uniti ed è stata installata sulla costa di Citavecchia, va notato che la statua è esposta in varie città del mondo.
The statue is very famous, it is of two lovers a sailor and a nurse who kiss on the seashore in Civitavecchia.
The statue is made on the basis of a photograph by the American photographer Alfred Eisenstadt made in New York on August 14, 1945 in connection with the end of World War II.
The sculpture was for some time in the United States and was installed on the coast of Citavecchia, it should be noted that the statue is exhibited in various cities around the world.
