For some years, my fixed destination on vacation was its beautiful country, unfortunately the economic situation and today the pandemic prevents us from continuing to visit these marvelous ones full of history for many years, I have always liked Italy, for its culture, its history, the climate, the architecture and how romantic a walk through its beautiful landscapes and picturesque places can be.
This time I will show you my tour to a spectacular place, very close to Rome, there is the City of Tivoli, very beautiful and full of history. In this city we can find two large parks or villas: Villa Adriana and Villa D’Este.
Unfortunately Villa Adriana was closed. (Which is pending for the next trip).
Villa D’Este
It is a village declared a World Heritage Site, a masterpiece of Italian architecture and especially the design of its gardens, I loved being in that place.
The many fountains, grottos and water games that I saw in Villa D’Este , were a model to follow for the European gardens of Mannerism and the Baroque style.
The most important source is the Neptune Fountain. Originally made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and restored in the 20th century.
In addition, the park has other works of art such as the Fountain of the Dragons, the Grotto of Diana, the Rotunda of the Cypresses, the Fountain of the Organ and the internal rooms.
At the time I visited, many spaces were under maintenance and several sources were turned off ...
The wonderful thing about this place is that its sculptures are imposing and beautiful, nature is also part of the landscape.
In summer, it must be very refreshing to be in this beautiful place, I went the first week of January and I was dying of cold ...
They allow entry to the interior of some of the fountains, where you get a little wet, but it doesn't matter, you can feel the force of the water, and see where it comes from.
Wherever you look, you will find a font and it can have any shape.
Its construction must have been fascinating, due to its connection engineering to make the water flow naturally, and its maintenance is very important due to the residues that can obstruct the water outlet.

Da alcuni anni la mia meta fissa in vacanza è stato il suo Bel Paese, purtroppo la situazione economica e oggi la pandemia ci impedisce di continuare a visitare questi meravigliosi ricchi di storia da tanti anni, l'Italia mi è sempre piaciuta, per la sua cultura, la sua storia , il clima, l'architettura e quanto può essere romantica una passeggiata attraverso i suoi splendidi paesaggi e luoghi pittoreschi.
Questa volta ti mostrerò il mio tour in un luogo spettacolare, molto vicino a Roma, c'è la Città di Tivoli, molto bella e ricca di storia. In questa città possiamo trovare due grandi parchi o ville: Villa Adriana e Villa D'Este.
Purtroppo Villa Adriana è stata chiusa. (Che è in attesa per il prossimo viaggio).
Villa D'Este.
È una villa dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità, un capolavoro dell'architettura italiana e soprattutto del design dei suoi giardini, mi è piaciuto molto stare in quel luogo.
Le tante fontane, grotte e giochi d'acqua che ho visto a Villa D'Este, sono stati un modello da seguire per i giardini europei del Manierismo e dello stile barocco.
La fonte più importante è la Fontana del Nettuno. Originariamente realizzato da Gian Lorenzo Bernini e restaurato nel XX secolo.
Inoltre, il parco ospita altre opere d'arte come la Fontana dei Draghi, la Grotta di Diana, la Rotonda dei Cipressi, la Fontana dell'Organo e le sale interne.
Al momento della mia visita, molti spazi erano in manutenzione e diverse fonti erano state spente ...
La cosa meravigliosa di questo posto è che le sue sculture sono imponenti e belle, anche la natura fa parte del paesaggio.
In estate dev'essere molto rinfrescante essere in questo posto bellissimo, ci sono stata la prima settimana di gennaio e stavo morendo di freddo ...
Permettono l'ingresso all'interno di alcune fontane, dove ci si bagna un po ', ma non importa, si sente la forza dell'acqua e si vede da dove proviene.
Ovunque guardi, troverai un carattere e può avere qualsiasi forma.
La sua costruzione doveva essere affascinante, grazie alla sua tecnica di connessione per far scorrere l'acqua in modo naturale, e la sua manutenzione è molto importante per i residui che possono ostruire lo scarico dell'acqua.
