UNFORGETTABLE ITALY Contest week 27 - Piazza del popolo, Roma [ITA-ENG]

Oggi ho deciso, per la seconda volta in tutta la mia attività su Steemit, di partecipare al contest UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest: Week 27 [ENG-ITA]. Ho deciso di partecipare con questa foto che ritrae Piazza del Popolo a Roma.

Roma è la città che più di tutte adoro visitare, mi reco lì almeno una volta l’anno. Mi affascina ogni suo monumento, ogni sua piazza, ma anche piccoli locali di nicchia che, con il tempo, ho imparato a conoscere.

Questa foto, in particolare, l’ho scattata nel giugno 2020, durante le prime aperture post lockdown di cui tutti, purtroppo, siamo a conoscenza. L’immagine ritrae Piazza del Popolo, forse la piazza romana più conosciuta ai turisti, inquadrata dalla terrazza del Pincio, situata ai margini di Villa Borghese.

Vedendo questa foto, mi sono reso conto che non torno a Roma da quel giorno, devo subito rimediare. Non si può non “andare a trovare” una volta ogni tanto la capitale del nostro meraviglioso paese!

Today I decided, for the second time in all my Steemit activity, to participate at the contest UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest: Week 27 [ENG-ITA]. I decided to participate with this photo that portrays Piazza del Popolo in Rome.

Rome is the city that I love to visit most of all, I go there at least once a year. I am fascinated by every monument, every square, but also small niche places that, over time, I have come to know.

I took this photo in June 2020, during the first post lockdown openings that we are all unfortunately aware of. The image depicts Piazza del Popolo, perhaps the Roman square best known to tourists, framed by the terrace of the Pincio, located on the edge of Villa Borghese.

Seeing this photo, I realized that I haven't been back to Rome since that day, I have to fix it right away. It is impossible not to "go and visit" the capital of our wonderful country once in a while!

The photo was taken with my old Samsung S8.
