RE: DiGinnasio | Gaming: More Than Meets the Eye
I enjoyed LA Noire initially, but it became too repetitive. I wrote a review for it a couple of months ago. I've not played it since! I don't know how you can have that much game play and for it to keep you sucked in. It must be good though!
That’s just the tip of the iceberg - there’s so much to do in RDR2 that 100 hours feels like an understatement.
Hopefully there's enough variety for it to remain interesting.
Definitely not that identical. One with 3 l in the nick and one has 2. Are you twin?
Cc @the-gorilla
It's fun
Haha
😊 Unfortunately, some idiot from Hive is downvoting me (he was previously downvoting @inspiracion). So I created this account so that I’d still earn from my comments and @quiz-master so that the quiz is ok. the-gorilla will still post (because the downvotes are small compared to the upvotes) and do just enough comments so that he downvotes me and leaves everybody else alone.
It’s not ideal but we’ll have a permanent solution soon to get rid of him forever 😊
You must have done something very bad to wake someone from Hive in anger. And @inspiracion, I never thought she could do bad too. 😅😅
This @quiz-master I believe was born for commenting, at least so far that's what it's been doing. 😃
So there are 3 of you? Or are there more? 😅 👇
Oh, there are loads of me 😆 Sometimes I'll have an idea for an initiative and create a new account to do it. The 3 that you list there - the-gorilla is the original, el-gorila was created because Spanish users would tag that instead and the-gorillla is new because of the downvoting. @curator-helper is one of my favourites - I run it whenever I want to discover content that I might otherwise miss. @fpl-gorilla was for Fantasy Football, @sport-gorilla was for sports. @quiz-master is good for running the quiz. I created @clubdolphin but that was too much effort so I stopped. Oh, and we can't forget @endingplagiarism. There are probably more, all with a specific purpose. 🙂
The downvoting started because the Hive users have been reward farming for years. They hate Steemit so I waited until I had enough power to stop them. Which they didn't like. They'll be gone soon.
They downvoted inspiracion because she highlighted that they were doing it. Which they also didn't like.
Oh. I guess you will be have enough members for a football team in nearly time, if you haven't yet. 😅😅
So tactical, reminds me of @wakeupkitty, which is a very tactical one, too.
@endingplagiarism, I wonder why it stopped? But, maybe it's a good news for some, since it could be a not-really-good sign for them if you're following. Why stop? Too many to follow? 😅😅
I probably have enough members to compete at the Olympics 😆
A combination of things but mostly:
Initially, it worked well and the steemcurator accounts would downvote the abusers. But when the steemcurator accounts stopped downvoting, it was a lot of effort for little consequence. I'll still investigaate people every now and again - but generally people with access to booming or a steemcurator account. At least then, they can have their privilege removed and there's a consequence.
I understand, you gave it 6/10 rating 😄 But I can't wait to read your review (or perhaps your initial thoughts) on RDR2...
But in RDR2, nothing tops the satisfaction of finishing off a witness - I bet you'll agree! 😆
Oh, I was surprised you didn't include Contra in your Top 20 retrogames. And yes, Mortal Kombat! I remember always beating my uncle with a flawless victory using Sub-Zero
I've not got that far yet. I'm probably only 1 or 2 hours in!
I don't think that I ever played Contra. It looks like that was for the NES Console and I didn't own one of them. Not yet anyway 😉
That was such a difficult list to compile. So many great games missed out and there will be some that I'd forgotten about. I remember getting Mortal Kombat though on the Master System. I learned all of the special moves from a magazzine and whilst I was also a fan of Sub Zero - Scorpion was my go-to pick.
That’s right... but these are already playable online. There are actually quite a lot of decent games on the NES.
I don’t remember where I learned all the moves and finishers, but mastering them was our homework back in the day 😆
@wakeupkitty - when you write a comment on your mobile phone, the preview shouldn't be squashed any more 🙂
Super. I will try it out. An enjoyable Sunday!
