Here I would like to introduce another beautiful place of in Sri Lanka. It's Ambuluwawa Mountain Hill which is situated near the Gampola. This placed in 85km from Colombo city on Colombo-Kandy road.

This mountain is is about 3560m above from sea levels. Due to the unique loacation of this place there are huge numbers of herbal plants are there. There are more than 200varieties of plants belong to 80 species are there in this mountain. This place is surrounded by lot of famous hills in Sri Lanka .Those are;

*South : Adam's Peak/ Sri Pada
*West : Bible Rock / Bathalegala</>
*North :Mountain Range of Knuckles
*East :Pidurutalagala Hill

So when we started to climb the hill we can see the top of the mountain like here.(In BLUE arrow) There are some chances that you can ride our vehicles upto half way to the mountain. But to enjoy the environment we stated to climb the hill on foot.

It took around 1 hour to reach the top since we walk very slow. Here are some beautiful photos of the landscape.

On the top of the mountain it's a multi religion place with a "Hindu Kovil", a Muslim Mosque and a Christian Chapel & a Buddhist Shrine. Middle of there is a large tower which resembling a Buddhist stupa. This is the land mark of Ambuluwawa Hill mountain.

We can climb up to the top of this tower. so from there we can enjoy the whole surrounding.

Gampola Town

It was really nice to see this kind of surrounding at a one place. We spent more than 2 hours to see the place and take the photographs.
Then we left that place and started the rest of our journey then.
