Without plastic bags we can't even imagine our grocery shopping. At the same time we know that plastic bags are not good for our environment. Paper bags and cloth made bags are not waterproof but plastic bags can carry watery goods and the production cost of plastic bag is also cheap and affordable. Unfortunately technology not yet find an alternative and effective solution of this massive plastic bag use.
Today is plastic bag free day and this day can be a good reminder for us that we should take care of our environment by finding an alternative of plastic bag. Few weeks ago I saw a scientist is trying to invent eco friendly plastic bag alternative but the production cost will be huge and many business not going to accept a deal that can be not a profitable deal. We are ready to pollute our environment for money but no one cares that they making mess and disturbing the environment.
A day is not enough to stop using plastic bag permanently. Recycling, reusing and reducing can be a good use of it and I use it to collect trash from my room and keep it in dustbin though I've no idea that what will happen next to the plastic bag. I try to reuse and recycle it. Me alone can't bring the positive change so I think July 3 as international plastic bag free day can be an even of several communities to save our environment from bad impact of plastic bags, before it's too late we should have massive consciousness.

Senza sacchetti di plastica non possiamo nemmeno immaginare di fare la spesa. Allo stesso tempo sappiamo che i sacchetti di plastica non fanno bene al nostro ambiente. I sacchetti di carta e i sacchetti di stoffa non sono impermeabili, ma i sacchetti di plastica possono trasportare merci acquose e anche il costo di produzione del sacchetto di plastica è economico e conveniente. Purtroppo la tecnologia non è ancora riuscita a trovare una soluzione alternativa ed efficace all’uso massiccio dei sacchetti di plastica.
Oggi è la giornata senza sacchetti di plastica e questo giorno può essere un buon promemoria per noi che dovremmo prenderci cura del nostro ambiente trovando un'alternativa al sacchetto di plastica. Poche settimane fa ho visto uno scienziato che stava cercando di inventare un'alternativa ecologica ai sacchetti di plastica, ma il costo di produzione sarà enorme e molte aziende non accetteranno un accordo che potrebbe non essere redditizio. Siamo pronti a inquinare il nostro ambiente per denaro, ma a nessuno importa che stiano creando disordine e disturbando l’ambiente.
Un giorno non è sufficiente per smettere definitivamente di usare le buste di plastica. Riciclare, riutilizzare e ridurre può essere un buon uso e io lo uso per raccogliere la spazzatura dalla mia stanza e tenerla nella pattumiera anche se non ho idea di cosa succederà accanto al sacchetto di plastica. Cerco di riutilizzarlo e riciclarlo. Io da solo non posso portare il cambiamento positivo, quindi penso che il 3 luglio, come giornata internazionale senza sacchetti di plastica, possa essere un'occasione unica per diverse comunità per salvare il nostro ambiente dal cattivo impatto dei sacchetti di plastica, prima che sia troppo tardi dovremmo avere una consapevolezza massiccia.
La Giornata internazionale senza sacchetti di plastica, celebrata il 3 luglio, è un'iniziativa globale che mira a eliminare l'uso dei sacchetti di plastica. Great initiative.
However, in my opinion, it is not so easy to reverse one's convenience once given.
Although, I am also of the opinion that taking care of our environment is paramount importance, but the same time scrapping the huge investment that has already gone into, may not be a wise move. Interestingly, investments on new petrochemical complexes continue to go on in those countries especially where the maximum shoutout against plastic is coming from.
At the same time, we have to also consider the enormous amount of people who are employed in the sector.
In my opinion the biggest focus must go in developing the alternative material and then scale it up to the equivalent volume and price levels .

Con la plastica l’umanità ha un problema, ovvero che non si decompone, ma viene convertita in microplastiche, aumentando il problema, causando plasticosi per tutti.
Per me le soluzioni ci sono già, ma l’industria della plastica è enorme e non si permetteranno di portargli via il mercato.
